“But for this very purpose have I let you live, that I might show you My power, and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.” (Exodus 9:16, Amplified Bible)
There is a purpose for your life. I know that sometimes it may seem like you’re just existing, but if you really commit to your relationship with God, then you’ll begin to find out that there is a bigger plan for your life than you could have ever imagined. The plan of God will expand your whole outlook on life. The challenges of life will now be seen as nothing more than life development courses that are sculpting you into the person that God can use. James wrote, “My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know that you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so that you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything(James 1:2-4 CEV)." Today, start living the life that you not only want, but start living the life that God can bless.
Our minds must be renewed and quickened by a sense of divine purpose or else our existence will be lived from a purposeless perspective. Purpose is the fuel that motivates achievement. You will never achieve anything if you can’t see the big picture. A lot of people who feel as if they are failures in life only feel that way because they have no sense of purpose. If you discover your sense of purpose which can only be found in God, then success will come to you. We are reminded that, “God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. That’s why he sent Christ to make us what we are(Ephesians 2:10 CEV)." Our search for significance in this life has to begin with God because “he gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are(Act 17:28 CEV)."
Look at the negative situations that you have experienced in life and also think about the fact that no matter how bad or even life threatening it may have been, God preserved your life for a reason - His reason. That’s why Paul could boldly say,”We know that God is always at work for the good of everyone who loves him. They are the ones God has chosen for his purpose (Romans 8:28 CEV)." Look at that! God is always at work for you. Even when life throws you curve balls you can confidently say, “It’s alright because God is at work on my behalf right now.” Today, see yourself getting stronger as you endure the trials and tribulations of life because God is on your side. Remember what God told Jacob when it seemed like he was going through a lot on his journey to prophetic fulfillment, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you(Genesis 28:15 ESV)." Trust God because “I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you(Philippians 1:6 AMP)." This is your destiny moment!
