“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” -Esther 4:14(NKJV)
Did you know that you are where you are for a purpose, God’s purpose? You may not understand why you live in that city, work on that job or why you were even born into the family that you are in, but God knows the mission that you are supposed to fulfill. However, you must first tune into His voice so that He can reveal His agenda to you. Too many people due to a lack of understanding concerning God’s plan for them make decisions that jeopardize their role in His plan. From reading the above verse in Esther we should come to understand that just because we may forfeit our participation doesn’t mean that the plan is aborted because God always has the option to use someone else to accomplish His purposes. Why shouldn’t that someone be you? Starting today you must see everyday as an opportunity to become God’s instrument in completing His work on the earth. Cease to allow mere frustrations to cancel out your role in His plan because someone’s life is depending on your obedience. If you don’t comply with God then not only will he find someone else to do what you were supposed to do, but he may just let you hang around and watch it happen without you. Now go and fulfill your part in God’s plan. Today declare, “I am chosen!”
