“Lord, your love fills the earth. Teach me your demands. You have done good things for your servant, as you have promised, Lord.” (Psalm 119:64-65 NCV) A lot of times we are so quick to complain about the problems that occur in our lives, but how fast would we be willing to give God praise for the good that he has done for us. We must be willing to recognize the fact that whether we’ve been going through trouble for a day or for a year our problems are only temporary and if God blessed us before then he’ll be faithful to bless us again. In the tough times we need to remain firm in our faith by remembering past victories and expecting new ones. No one likes to suffer, but if we must go through then let us go through with the Lord leading us and protecting us so that we can share the testimony of the psalmist who wrote, “Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me(Psalm 23:4 AMP)." As Paul tells us, “God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord(1 Corinthians 1:9 AMP)." The faithfulness of God is something that we can have full confidence in because he will disappoint those that trust him as the psalmist also declares, “they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance(Psalm 37:19 ESV)." Get excited because you about to experience a great breakthrough.
