"And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?" (Luke 24:32 KJV)
Have you ever had a genuine God encounter? When I say God-encounter I am referring to that precious moment where God reveals himself in an awesomely tangible way. This moment produces within your heart a clarity concerning the nature and person of God that is forever engraved within your soul. It brings a peace that may not have existed within your personal world before that moment. His word becomes tangible and the application of it becomes very relevant in that moment. These encounters oftentimes lead individuals to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. People are also healed and set free from Satanic oppression and possession during these encounters. I remember hearing of one particular instance where a person was going through a personal crisis that caused them to have many sleepless nights. However, one day as they were worshipping God in a church service, God began to surround them in what felt like tangible love until their thoughts no longer focused on their troubles but on how much God loved them. As this occurred they began to love God back and suddenly they felt what appeared to be a huge weight lift from off of their shoulders. As they arrived home still feeling the love of God within they prepared for bed and unlike the previous sleepless nights they found themselves peacefully sleeping for the first time in weeks and never had another restless night since. By the way, God worked out their situation, too! Whatever you are going through just have a God-encounter and everything will be alright. If you have a major or minor decision to make just begin to worship God and expect to receive God's guidance. If you need physical or mental healing along with your prescribed medication add some daily worship to it and expect for God to bring your healing suddenly. When was the last time you had a God-encounter? Declaration: "Since I am a child of God I can always expect to encounter my Heavenly Father daily. As a matter of fact, he never leaves me alone and my heart is always conscious of his presence. Heaven's atmosphere is filling my home, my car, my office and everywhere that I go, in Jesus' name."
